On the basis of Korkyt Ata university in Kyzylorda was held the traditional Republican competition of research works of students under the educational program «Oil and gas business».
This scientific competition was attended by 16 students on 8 scientific works from different universities of the country.
The research work of students was considered by a special competition commission established at the University.
According to the results of open voting at the session of the competition commission of the University of Korkyt Ata students of West Kazakhstan agrarian and technical university named after Zhangir khan Yerden Ayapkaliev and Aruzhan Bakytzhan took 1st place in NIRS and were awarded with the diploma of the 1st degree of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The scientific head of the students is c.t.s., associate professor of higher school «Oil, gas and chemical engineering» of Zhangir khan university Bakytzhan Burkhanov.
